April 2012 marks 59 years of rich tradition and history for the City of Henderson. Commemorating the occasion will be the annual Heritage Parade and Festival in the Water Street District.

Festivities include live entertainment, international food booths, dance and cooking demonstrations, craft booths, a classic car show and parade!

Come out and celebrate Henderson’s heritage and vitality throughout the years. It’s fun for the whole family. Please see a list of scheduled activities below.

Art and Craft Vendor Application

Thank you for your interest in being an artist or craft vendor! Please click here to download the official application and return to Annette Mullins via the information provided. To complement the cultural theme of the event, we kindly request all items and demonstrations represent a specific world culture and/or ethnic group (e.g.,Ukrainian eggs, Chinese calligraphy, Mexican mariachi performers, etc.). 

Parade Application

Thank you for showing interest in participating in our parade! Please click here to download the official application and return to Liz Marshall via the information provided for your chance at winning cash prizes that will be awarded to floats, and ribbons that will be awarded to marching groups, special interest vehicles and equestrian entries. And we will also have the People's Choice award where spectators, fans and those viewing the parade live on Cox will be able to vote for his/her favorite entry via text. The entry with the most votes will be awarded $500! Cox channel for parade viewing will be announced at a later date, so please check back here with us often.
