Day 1:  Start your day early

Visit the HENDERSON VETERANS MEMORIAL WALL.  (877-775-5252 / 200 S. Water Street, Henderson, NV).  Henderson's way of honoring not only those people who have fought for their country, but the city's heritage. Henderson's memorial wall, which was dedicated on
November 11, 2004, is inscribed with more than 1,000 names.  One section of the walk honors several hundred Vietnam veterans, both living and dead while another section is reserved for all deceased war veterans who resided in Henderson prior to 1980.  Records have been maintained through the year by American War Mothers, a group of mothers and wives of war veterans.

CLARK COUNTY HERITAGE MUSEUM:  (702-455-7955 / 1830 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV).  You will find a unique collection of historic homes, authentic rolling stock of a 1932 depot, and a resurrected ghost town and Indian camp.  Museum and Museum Store on premises.  9:00 am – 4:30 pm.

CITY OF HENDERSON BIRD VIEWING PRESERVE:   (702-566-2939 / 2400 Moser Drive, Henderson, NV).  A 147 acre migratory bird stop and wetlands that encompasses basins, lagoons, and ponds.  Migrating and nesting birds.  Amenities include Boardwalks, Trails, Benches, Trees, Kiosks, Signs, ADA Accessible, and Plenty of Parking.  6:30 am – 3:00 pm.

Any one of the great restaurants located near Sunset and Stephanie Streets in our retail district.  You will find fabulous choices such as Mimi's Cafe, Applebee's, Black Angus Steakhouse, and Chevy's Fresh Mex.

LAKE MEAD CRUISES:  (702-293-6180 / Highway 166, Boulder City, NV).  Evening Dinner and Dinner Dance Cruises aboard a Mississippi Style Paddlewheeler on the waters of Lake Mead.  Please call for schedules and rates.  Reservations reccommended.

Day 2:

Give in to your craving for Shopping and Art Gazing –

Getting hungry?  Make the "Mall Ring Circle" area your next location, where you will find several restaurants along with an indoor food court.
GALLERIA MALL:   (702-434-2409 / 1300 W Sunset Road, Henderson, NV).  Features 140 world class stores, including Dillard's, Galyan's, Robinsons May, JC Penney, and Mervyns.  Boutiques and eateries are set amidst two levels of splashing fountains, vaulting skylights, and desert blooms.
Your shopping doesn't have to stop when the sun goes down.  Plan on dinner in the Green Valley area.

THE DISTRICT AT GREEN VALLEY RANCH RESORT:  (877-564-8595 / 2300 Paseo Verde Drive, Henderson, NV).  The most unique street in town - urban and charming, convenient and eclectic. Day 3:

Sleep in and then begin your day with a Spa Experience or choose to Rise and Shine and get ready for some Outdoor Adventure Activities.

Relax and recharge, in a retreat from the desert sun.  Enjoy luxury body treatments, salon services, and fitness centers.

What you will find just a short drive outside of Henderson -

ST. JUDES RANCH FOR CHILDREN:  (800-492-3562 / 100 St. Jude's Street., Boulder City, NV).  This sprawling Spanish style complex sits on 40 acres.  Home for abused, abandoned, and neglected children.  Chapel of the Holy Family.  Gift Shop (Home to their World Famous line of recycled greeting cards).  
 
BOOTLEG CANYON:  (702-293-3472 / Yucca Street at Industrial Road, Boulder City, NV).  A mountain bikers paradise.

LAKE MEAD NATIONAL RECREATION AREA:  (702-293-8947 / 601 Nevada Highway, Boulder City, NV). 
Lake Mead and the mighty Hoover Dam (702-294-3521 / Highway 93 at the AZ State
Border, Boulder City, NV)  Tours, Scenic View, Snack Bar, and Gift Shop.

RED ROCK CANYON:  (702-647-5000 / State Route 159-W Charleston Boulevard, NV).  This National Conservation Area has something to offer all year round.  Scenic Loop Drive, Visitors Center, Interpretive Programs, Hiking and Biking Trails, and Spring Mountain State Park.

BONNIE SPRINGS RANCH – OLD NEVADA:   (702-875-4191 / State Route 159-W Charleston Boulevard, Old Nevada, NV).  A western theme park which stages old west style gunfights and hangings for visitors.  Among its other attractions are a opera house, museum, cemetery, an old western mini-train, petting zoo, and horse back riding.  10:30 am – 6:00 pm.

MT. CHARLESTON:  (800-955-1314 / 1200 Old Park Road-Kyle Canyon, Las Vegas, NV). Hiking, Camping, Hotel, Lodge, and Ski Area.  Located in the Toiyabe National Forest.
