While visiting Henderson the Grand Canyon is a side trip you won't want to pass on, it is a national treasure. Your trip will take about 4 hours and 30 minutes, to reach the South Rim. The Sout Rim of the Grand Canyon is open year round but be aware the North Rim is open from mid May to mid October only. In addition to the spectacular view some of the amenities available are: Amenities: * Hiking * Camping * Mule trips * Skywalk & Hualapai Reservation * Havasupai Reservation & Waterfalls * Kaibab National Forest * Little Colorado River Navajo Tribal Park * Accommodations * Gift shops Directions: Take the 93/95 (515) south, when you reach the point where 93/95 separate stay to your left continuing on the 93 to Boulder City. Follow 93 over the bridge to Arizona and stay on 93 south to Kingman. At Kingman proceed east on 40 to Williams and Rt 64. Follow 64 North (180 will merge with 64)continue to the Grand Canyon.
