- Home to almost 200 species of birds, including waterfowl, wading, and birds of prey - 147-acre migratory bird stop and wetlands, encompassing basins, lagoons and ponds - Mapped trails to find several observation stations with benches and interpretive signs - Bird watching classes (age ranges from pre-school to seniors) - Visitors may also purchase a variety of souvenirs, clothing and nature materials from the Bird Preserve Gift Shop - ADA accessible Groups: Larger school and community groups are requested to make appointments for guided tours by calling ahead two weeks prior to desired date of visit.
