| Valley of Fire derives its name from the red sand stone formations, formed from great shifting sand dunes during the age of the dinasours. The park is open from sunrise to sunset 7 days a week and is about 1 hour North East of Las Vegas.

$10.00 for non resident vehicle
$8.00 for resident vehicle
Directions:
Drive approximately 35 miles north of Las Vegas on I-15 to Exit 75 (Hwy 169)
Exit 75 is your last chance to purchase gas or food, neither is sold once you enter the park.
Take Hwy 169 East for approximately 15 miles to the park entrance.
From there it is approximately another 4 miles to the visitor center.
