| The Henderson Birdviewing Preserve is one of Henderson's hidden tresures. The preserve opens early for your comfort and convenience.
Amenities:
* Over 250 species of resident and migratory birds, including waterfowl wading, and birds of prey have been seen at the preserve.
* 100-acre migratory bird stop and wetlands, encompassing 9 ponds
* Mapped trails to find several observation stations with benches and interpretive signs
* Bird watching classes (age ranges from pre-school to seniors)
* Visitors may also purchase a variety of souvenirs, clothing and nature materials from the Bird Preserve Gift Shop

Groups:
Larger school and community groups are requested to make appointments for guided tours by calling ahead two weeks prior to desired date of visit.
