Up to $15,000 in cash prizes awarded to participants during four-day event
Southern Nevada’s largest car show is now accepting applications for car participants. The 12
th annual Super Run Classic Car Show is scheduled for September 22-25, 2011 in Henderson, Nevada. The event is open to all years, makes and models of classic vehicles including vintage, street and classic cars, as well as hot rods, muscle cars, street rods, competition vehicles and customs. Early registration is $50 and space is limited to 1,000 entries. Applications are available at

The Super Run Classic Car Show is an opportunity for car collectors to remove the car cover, dust off the chrome and take their hobby from the garage to the streets of Henderson. More than 100,000 spectators are expected to attend the four-day event, admiring and inquiring about the numerous vehicles on display. Entrants can participate in several competitions including slow drags, roaring engines and burn-out contests. Up to $15,000 in cash prizes and more than 250 awards will be distributed to car show participants.
“The Super Run Classic Car Show is a highly regarded annual event among car enthusiasts from around the United States,” said Mark Calhoun, Henderson City Manager. “Every year, we look forward to the increased visitor volume the world-class car show brings to our premier destination.”
In addition, nightly headlining entertainment will take place throughout the event weekend. On Friday, September 23, expect to hear classic Motown music from The Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards, while Saturday, September 24 will be devoted to country music fans.
