Fine artists & crafters can submit applications through March 21
The City of Henderson has extended its application deadline for the 1st annual Art & All That Jazz, Henderson’s fine arts & jazz festival. Artists and crafters can submit applications through Monday, March 21.
Art & All That Jazz will be held over Mother’s Day weekend, May 7-8, at the Henderson Events Plaza, 200 S. Water Street, in the Water Street District. The two-day festival will feature a variety of contemporary artists, fine craft, fashion and home décor artisans. In addition, the show will include daily jazz entertainment and a kids’ corner furnished with an assortment of interactive activities.
The event will also include Piazza Colori, an adaptation of an Italian street painting festival. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Green Valley, Piazza Colori will allow local artists to create colorful and ornate chalk art masterpieces at the Henderson Events Plaza. Proceeds from Piazza Colori will benefit a number of Henderson charities associated with the Rotary Club of Green Valley.
