Parade theme honors 30th anniversary of Ethel M Chocolates
WHAT: The City of Henderson is now accepting applications for the upcoming Heritage Parade. This year’s parade theme is “Henderson – Chocolatiers for 30 years”. The theme honors the 30th anniversary of Ethel M Chocolates, which has called Henderson home since 1981. It’s complimentary to participate.
All Heritage Parade entries, from marching groups to special interest vehicles and equestrian entries, will be judged on theme, creativity and overall appeal. Cash prizes will be awarded to floats for 1st ($1,000), 2nd ($750) and 3rd place ($500), courtesy of several community partners.

The Henderson Heritage Parade & Festival is a day-long celebration of the City’s 58-year history, rich traditions and community spirit. The event includes a Mayor & Council breakfast, classic car show and festival, featuring culturally-diverse entertainment, world cuisine, craft and cooking demonstrations, courtesy of the International Food & Folklife Association.
