Day 1:  Start your day early

Visit the HENDERSON VETERANS MEMORIAL WALL.  (877-775-5252 / 240 S. Water Street, Henderson, NV).  Henderson's way of honoring not only those people who have fought for their country, but the city's heritage. Henderson's memorial wall, which was dedicated on November 11, 2004, is inscribed with more than 1,000 names. One section of the wall honors several hundred Vietnam veterans, while another section is reserved for all deceased war veterans who resided in Henderson prior to 1980.  Records have been maintained through the year by American War Mothers, a group of mothers and wives of war veterans.

CLARK COUNTY HERITAGE MUSEUM:  (702-455-7955 / 1830 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV).  You will find a unique collection of historic homes, authentic rolling stock of a 1932 depot, and a resurrected ghost town and Indian camp. Museum and Gift Shop on premises.  9:00 am - 4:30 pm.

CITY OF HENDERSON BIRD VIEWING PRESERVE:   (702-566-2939 / 2400 Moser Drive, Henderson, NV).  A 147-acre migratory bird stop and wetlands that encompasses basins, lagoons, and ponds. Migrating and nesting birds. Amenities include Boardwalks, Trails, Benches, Trees, Kiosks, Signs, ADA accessible and plenty of Parking.  6:30 am - 3:00 pm.

Day 2: Give in to your craving for Shopping and Art Gazing
